Quick answer
Labcorp OnDemand's Comprehensive Health Test costs $189 for 51 measured markers, $3.71 each, and its Advanced Health Panel costs $399 for 61, both read October 31, 2026 on Labcorp's own pages. It is the lab selling direct, with no fee on top, but it does not sell everywhere.

Labcorp is one of the two largest US lab companies, and OnDemand is its consumer store: you pick a test online, an independent physician network orders it, and you give the sample at a Labcorp patient service center. Below: what it costs, what the panels measure, who orders and reads your results, refunds, states and privacy. The full scorecard is on our Labcorp OnDemand review page, and every service is ranked on the best blood tests page.

What Labcorp OnDemand costs

What Price Measured markers Per measured marker Source
Comprehensive Health Test (CBC, CMP, urinalysis, lipids, A1c) $189 51 $3.71 Labcorp catalog
Advanced Health Panel $399 61 $6.54 Advanced Health Panel
CBC on its own $29 CBC
ApoB on its own $69 ApoB
Lp(a) on its own $49 Lp(a)
Vitamin D on its own $99 Vitamin D
Cancel before your lab visit Refund less a $20 fee, within one year Refund policy

Prices are regular list prices. Labcorp was running an October promotion, "Save up to 25% off select tests" (Labcorp OnDemand), so your cart may show less. No physician or draw fee appeared on the test pages we read, unlike Quest, which adds one to every order; our Quest vs Labcorp OnDemand guide prices twelve tests at both.

Labcorp markets the Advanced panel as 65+ markers to help you "establish a health baseline" (Advanced Health Panel). Expanding its CBC, CMP and urinalysis by Labcorp's own component lists and taking out calculated values leaves 61 measured markers by our count. It includes ApoB, insulin, hs-CRP, ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and total testosterone, and leaves out Lp(a), free testosterone, estradiol and cortisol. Each marker is on our biomarker table.

Who orders and who reads your results

Labcorp OnDemand writes: "All Labcorp OnDemand testing requires an order from an authorized healthcare professional." and says it "has contracted with independent professional entities" to provide that service (Advanced Health Panel page). Its provider agreements name the "Enprovider Network" and a "PWNHealth Agreement" (provider agreements). Results go to you and, in Labcorp's words, "to the independent healthcare provider who placed your test order", who contacts you if a result needs follow-up. Nobody writes you a summary or a plan: that is what memberships such as Function Health sell at a higher price.

Labcorp runs the samples in its own labs. Labcorp is a CLIA-certified lab network; you can look up any lab on the CMS QCOR CLIA lookup.

Which states it excludes

Labcorp OnDemand publishes no list of excluded states that we could find. What we have:

  • At launch in 2019, a law firm summary reported: "The service is not currently offered in New York, New Jersey, Maryland or Rhode Island." (Rivkin Radler, 2019). It is old and secondhand.
  • Walk-In Lab, which resells Labcorp tests, lists Labcorp's prohibited states as New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Maryland and Massachusetts (Walk-In Lab help).
  • Labcorp's support center says it "does not have locations for sample collection in HI, ME, or ND" (Labcorp support), though residents there can still buy and travel.

The pattern matches state law: New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island restrict direct-access testing and Maryland bars it without a physician's order, as our guide to ordering your own blood test explains. If you live in New York or New Jersey, Quest's own store does sell there; see our New York page and Maryland page.

Privacy and shared accounts

Results are handled under Labcorp's Notice of Privacy Practices, because Labcorp the lab is a HIPAA covered entity. One detail matters for couples and families: "If you are accessing your results through your Labcorp Patient™ account, all users linked to the account will have access to all OnDemand test results." (Advanced Health Panel page). Labcorp patients were among those affected by the 2019 AMCA billing-vendor breach, which concerned billing data, not results (Connecticut AG). Our privacy guide compares every service.

Pros and cons

Pros Cons
The lab sells direct: no middleman and no fee on top Not sold in New York, New Jersey or Rhode Island, per secondary sources
Comprehensive Health Test is cheap per measured marker Flagship panels leave out Lp(a) and free testosterone
Refunds for a year if you never give a sample, less a fee No results summary or clinician plan
HSA and FSA cards accepted Linked Labcorp Patient accounts see all results

Our verdict

Labcorp OnDemand is the simplest way to buy Labcorp-run tests at list price outside the restricted states. For a basic yearly check its Comprehensive Health Test is one of the cheapest per measured marker we track. For a handful of single tests, a discount store can cost less even after its fees; see blood test cost without insurance. Questions

FAQ

Is Labcorp OnDemand worth it?

For a few standard tests or a basic yearly panel, yes: the lab sells at list price with the physician order included and no fee on top. Its Comprehensive Health Test is one of the cheapest broad panels per measured marker we track. It does not include Lp(a), a results summary or a clinician plan.

What tests does Labcorp OnDemand offer?

Single tests such as CBC, CMP, lipid panel, A1c, ApoB, Lp(a), vitamin D, ferritin, TSH, testosterone and AMH, plus panels from the Comprehensive Health Test up to the Advanced Health Panel. Some tests, such as COVID and colon screening, come as at-home kits.

Which states does Labcorp OnDemand exclude?

Labcorp publishes no list we could find. Secondary sources say it does not sell in New York, New Jersey, Maryland or Rhode Island, and a reseller adds Massachusetts for Labcorp orders. Labcorp says it has no collection sites in Hawaii, Maine or North Dakota.

Do I need a doctor for Labcorp OnDemand?

No outside doctor is needed. An independent provider network that Labcorp contracts with places the order after you buy, and receives your results. That provider is not your personal doctor, so share results with your own clinician.

Can I get a refund from Labcorp OnDemand?

Yes, within one year of purchase if you have not given a sample, less a fee that Labcorp says covers the provider order and administration. Once the lab has your sample, the order cannot be cancelled. At-home kits have a shorter, 60-day window.

How long do Labcorp OnDemand results take?

Labcorp's pages give a range per test: two to four days for an Lp(a) test and seven to ten days for the Advanced Health Panel, counted from when the sample reaches the lab. Results appear in your OnDemand account.
